The local leaders of Domboshava ward 4 reportedly held a meeting over the weekend where they summoned Ward 4 Councillor Tapiwa Murima to explain the Regularisation process which is set to be held in the area, Domboshava Dot. Coms can exclusively reveal.
Sources told this publication that local leaders held this meeting to get a clear picture on the regularisation process from the councillor amid rumours that the process is going to lead to the demolition of houses and displacement of residents.
"The meeting was held over the weekend where Zanu Pf District Chairperson Mr Matyenyika, Domboshava Residents Committee Chairperson Mr Tineyi Munetsi, Domboshava Community Development Trust Chairperson Mr Tonderai Murape among others were in attendance."
"Councillor Murima explained the whole process to the leaders and assured them that the process seeks to bring order in the area.
"He made it clear that the process will see residents getting stand numbers and existing road networks being widened for residents to easily access their homes.
"He assured them that no one is going to be relocated except those who have built their houses in places like wetlands, mountains and areas that are designated for hospitals and schools", said the source who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Sources revealed that there were mixed feelings among the leaders regarding this process, as some welcomed the idea while others received it with caution.

"They told him that the residents know what is best for them so they are the ones who should decide to either approve the regularisation process or reject it," said the source.
Domboshava.Dot coms is yet to established when the meeting will be held but unconfirmed reports are saying it may be held on Wednesday this week.
