A shocking incident took place in Masvosve village, in ward 4 Domboshava as villagers found a child's grave with an open hole, with clothes which were used to dress the dead child outside the grave, Domboshava Dot Coms has learnt.
Sources who spoke to this publication said the incident took place this month when a grave which was used to bury a small child was partially dug out with clothes that were worn by the child upon her burial placed on top of it.
"The incident took place this month when news spread in the village that a child's grave has been dug out. We went there together with the family of the deceased child (name of family withheld) and found the grave partially dug out with the clothes which were worn by the child placed on top of the grave."
"We suspect that witches did this for ritual purposes," said the source who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Domboshava Dot Coms gathered information that the incident was reported to the local Headman Murape whose phone was not going through when the reporter tried to contact him for a comment by the time of publishing.
